The Bozzuto Group and its companies are committed to operating as an environmental steward in each project we undertake. As a builder, developer, owner and manager, we recognize that our day-to-day work has a profound impact on the world around us, and that we have the opportunity to be a leader in sustainable use of the Earth's resources. We also realize that in the long run, we can actually create more value with less environmental impact.

And we've not come to appreciate the importance of this issue recently - we were recognized by our peers in the industry as Environmental Builder of the Year in both 1996 and 2002. In addition, many of our employees collaborated with the U.S. Department of Energy to make the ENERGY STAR program work for multifamily housing.

To meet our ecological goals, we have established a Green Committee to educate employees and promote the adoption of energy efficient and environment-friendly standards. The committee, made up of a diverse group of employees, many of which are LEED Accredited Professionals, relies on expert advice and sound research to provide the company with strategies that conserve our resources, support sustainable building and ultimately make us better environmental citizens, both at work and at home.
