Greenbelt, MD…Ground has been broken on The Arbors at Arundel Preserve, a new community that will add nearly 500 apartment homes to the region between Fort Meade and the Baltimore Washington International Airport in Anne Arundel County, an area that is slated to add thousands of new jobs over the next few years.
A joint venture development of Bozzuto Development Company and Somerset Construction Company, The Arbors at Arundel Preserve will be introduced on a 13-acre site close to the popular Arundel Mills shopping mall, at the intersection of Arundel Mills and Dorchester boulevards in Hanover, MD. Expected to begin delivery in Spring 2007, the project is valued at approximately $65 million.
Central to the community will be a striking lodge-style building that will include a number of the community’s amenities. This inviting recreational space will feature lofty two-story ceiling heights and include a pub-style game room with a large flat-screen TV and billiard table; a club-like fitness center; a business center; and a media room. The Arbors at Arundel Preserve will also incorporate an outdoor swimming pool, a children’s play area, and a landscaped terrace with an outdoor fireplace and grilling area.
The apartment residences themselves will feature one, two and three bedroom plans. Some have been designed with direct access to private garages; others will offer appealing loft-style layouts. The community will be managed by Bozzuto Management Company.

The Arbors at Arundel Preserve is located within the masterplanned community of Arundel Preserve, a 280-acre site near the intersection of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Maryland Route 175. The apartments are at the forefront of development within the community that will ultimately encompass office, apartments, homes, hotels, and retail elements.
