UNIVERSITY OF BALTIMORE SELECTS THE BOZZUTO GROUP,
GOULD PROPERTY COMPANY TEAM TO DEVELOP TRIO OF SITES

Developments Expected to Blend Residential, Retail, Office, and Parking Elements 

 

Greenbelt, MD…..The University of Baltimore has designated “Selected Developer” status to The Bozzuto Group and Gould Property Company, Inc. with Parking Management, Inc. (PMI) for the development of three key sites in Baltimore’s Mount Vernon District.

While plans for the trio of properties are still in the preliminary stages, the developments are expected to represent a vibrant mix of residential, retail, and office elements as well as needed parking resources that will enhance both the surrounding neighborhood and the academic community.

The selection is the result of a request for proposal issued by the University of Baltimore last October to local and national developers for a mixed-use development.

The sites include:

  • A 4.23-acre parcel at Mt. Royal Avenue and Oliver Street known as the Bolton Yard Parking Lot;
  • A 1.25-acre parcel at Mt. Royal Avenue and Charles Street across from the University’s Academic Center and within walking distance to Penn Station;
  • A .3-acre parcel at Mt. Royal Avenue and Cathedral Street.
