THE BOZZUTO GROUP ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW PARTNER

Greenbelt, MD...Steve Strazzella, Senior Vice President of the Bozzuto Development Company, has been named Partner of The Bozzuto Group, a diversified real estate services organization. The announcement was made by The Bozzuto Group’s chairman and CEO Thomas S. Bozzuto.

As a partner, Steve will participate in the strategic direction of and business planning for The Bozzuto Group, which is active in the DC and Baltimore metro areas as well as throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.

“Steve has made a significant contribution to the success of the projects he has led and to our company overall. His experience and knowledge will add tremendously to the partnership team of The Bozzuto Group” said Tom Bozzuto.

Steve will continue in his role as Senior Vice President of the Bozzuto Development Company, where he is currently managing the development of 2,000 apartment units in the Washington metropolitan area. Present projects include Delancey in Shirlington Village (Arlington, VA), Monroe Place at Woodland Park Crossing (Fairfax, VA), and Mariner Bay at Annapolis Towne Centre. He has been actively involved in the real estate industry since 1989, having managed more than $600 million in real estate construction and development projects for some of the largest firms in the country.

A graduate of The Catholic University of America with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Steve is also actively involved in the Washington Real Estate Group, the Urban Land Institute, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, and the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association.
