Unfortunately, due to a timing issue, the September rent bill you have received is incorrect.  It does not reflect the appropriate credits or discounts.  Please disregard and apologies for any confusion.

New bills are currently being processed and will be delivered to you as soon as possible.  Thank you for your patience.

We would like to ensure you are aware that if you decide to vacate your apartment, you need to notify us in writing by October 1st but you do not need to provide us with 30 days notice.  As always please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.

Additionally, please note that we are accepting monetary donations for displaced Riverwalk residents until Monday, August 25th. You may drop off your donations at the Regatta Apartments management office (1000 Regatta Circle, Norristown, PA 19401) or mail them to Bozzuto Management Company, c/o Lauren McDonald, 7850 Walker Drive, Suite 400, Greenbelt MD 20770.

After August 25th, we will equally distribute the funds to residents. If you would like to make a donation after that time, we would encourage you to donate to the local chapter of the Red Cross or the SPCA – both organizations were of great help during this tragedy.

We are very happy to let you know that ownership will be crediting your August rent beginning August 13th in acknowledgement of the tremendous inconvenience and stress caused to you by the recent fire. This credit will be automatically applied to your next rent bill - there is nothing you need to do.

For residents who have not yet picked up their new keys, please feel free to stop by the Riverwalk management office to do so. Our hours will continue to be Monday - Thursday from 9am-6pm, Friday from 8am-5pm, Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 12pm-5pm.

For those of you who would like to make material donations for displaced Riverwalk residents, you may bring them the Regatta Apartments clubhouse (1000 Regatta Circle, Norristown, PA 19401, 610-755-3000).

We have received a considerable amount of monetary donations from the community and would like to begin distributing the funds equally to residents of buildings 1000 and 4000.  To make this process easy for you, we will distribute the funds via mail.  In order to do so, we need your updated mailing address (where you are receiving mail for the next month or so).

At your earliest convenience, please contact us at the Regatta Apartments at 610-755-3000 or regattaapartments@bozzuto.com to provide us with your new address.  We will do our best to get in touch with each and every resident; however, after six months, we will donate unclaimed funds to the Red Cross.

Federal assistance has been approved for Riverwalk residents who apartments were destroyed or damaged by the August 13th fire. Low-interest loans up to $40,000 from the U.S. Small Business Administration are now available to eligible renters, business owners and non-profit organizations whose property was damaged by the fire.

We have spoken with UPS and they plan to deliver any new or en-route packages to 1200 Ward Avenue, West Chester, PA 19380. If you would like to have a package redirected to a new address, please contact UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS. Should we receive any packages for you (from UPS, FedEx or DHL), we will accept and hold them until September 15, 2008. After that date, we will ask UPS to return the packages to the original sender.

We are happy to let you know we have spoken with Comcast and have confirmed that the due date for charges relating to your damaged cable box has been extended to November 15, 2008.   This allows your insurance company enough time to process your claim and provide you with funds before the due date.

We would like to let you know that your deposit checks are scheduled to arrive at the Regatta Apartments management office Tuesday, August 19th (1000 Regatta Circle, Norristown, PA 19401, 610-755-3000). These checks will contain your security deposit refund, your August 13th - 31st rent refund and your prorated amenity free refund. You may pick them up at any time during office hours. If you would like us to mail your check, please give us a call and let us know of your new address.

We also wanted to inform you that the local SPCA has placed humane traps surrounding buildings 1000 and 4000 in hopes of finding any pets stillin the area. The organization will check the traps regularly and we will notify you of any updates.

Lastly, please note that all appointments to access buildings 1000 and 4000 will cease by 5:00pm on Sunday, August 24th. Unfortunately, we will not be able to extend appointments past this time as the buildings will no longer be accessible for retrieval operations.

We would like to remind you that if we have informed you your apartment can be accessed in some way, the Minkoff Company-escorted visits are by appointment only. We ask that you report to the community a few minutes before at your previously scheduled time. If you have not already, please contact Bozzuto Management staff at 610-755-3000 to determine how accessible your unit is and to discuss the process for re-entering those select units. We encourage you to contact your renter's insurance company to begin processing your claim.

In addition, there has been an overwhelming response from your neighbors and the surrounding community with charitable donations. We have set up a donation and pick-up site at the Regatta Apartments at 1000 Regatta Circle, Norristown, PA. There is a significant amount of men's, woman's, children and infant clothing, packaged toiletries, toys, shoes and household supplies that have been donated for you. We encourage you to stop by the Regatta Apartments anytime during regular business hours to pick up whatever you need. If there is a specific item that you are in need of, please contact the Riverwalk office (610.825.4001) or the Regatta office (610-755-3000) and let us know. There are many people who wish to fulfill a specific need.

Frequently Asked Questions - Building 1000 and 4000 Residents Only

Many of you have asked some very good questions about where we go from here. Here are answers to some of the more frequently asked questions over the past few days.

Q: Where can I go for information regarding future housing?

A: Our housing assistance command center is temporarily located our sister property, Regatta Apartments (1000 Regatta Circle, Norristown, PA 19401, 610-755-3000). We have many representatives there who can assist you in locating housing. Additionally, you can access information on available apartments in the Philadelphia area through www.4wallsinphilly.com There is a special link for Riverwalk residents. Our Riverwalk management office is also able to assist, if that is easier for you.

Q: Will I get my Security Deposit back?

A: Yes, you will receive a full refund of your security deposit. Refund checks will be available beginning Tuesday, August 19th at the Regatta Apartments (1000 Regatta Circle, Norristown, PA 19401, 610-755-3000). You may pick them up at any time during office hours. If you would like us to mail your check, please give us a call and let us know of your new address.

Q: Will I receive a rent refund for August?

A: You will receive a refund from August 13th through August 31st included with the return of your security deposit

Q: Will I receive a refund of my amenity fee?

A: If you have resided in buildings 1000 and 4000, you will received a prorated refund of your amenity fee.

Q: Should I cancel my utilities?

A: The Bozzuto team has contacted PECO to cancel your gas, electric and cable. Unfortunately, we are unable to disconnect phone service for you. Additionally, you may want to forward your phone number or make arrangements to keep your existing phone number, so we ask that you make these arrangements yourself. For reference, Verizon can be reached at 800-660-2215.

Q: Where do I pick up my mail?

A: The Conshohocken Post Office is holding mail for all residents of Riverwalk.
