Daniel C. Murphy

Dan Murphy serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Bozzuto, where he oversees the finance and accounting operations across all Bozzuto companies. In this role, he also manages the company’s comprehensive portfolio of debt and equity relationships, playing a pivotal role in strategic financial planning and capital structuring.

Dan joined Bozzuto in 2003 as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, bringing with him a deep foundation in financial oversight and corporate governance. His leadership and impact led to his promotion in 2006 to Operating Partner, a role in which he continues to drive fiscal integrity and long-term financial performance across the enterprise.

Before joining Bozzuto, Dan was a partner at Arthur Andersen LLP and Ernst & Young LLP, where he developed extensive expertise in financial reporting, tax planning and financial advisory services focused primarily on real estate companies. Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from James Madison University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He remains actively involved in the community, currently serving on the Board of Directors at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Kids Enjoy Exercise Now USA (KEEN), a nonprofit dedicated to providing fitness and recreational opportunities for children with disabilities.
