As President of Bozzuto Homes, Inc., Tom oversees the development, construction and sales of a wide range of for-sale products – including condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes – from land acquisition to the final settlement. In 2001, he joined Bozzuto Development Company, in 2003 was named president, and in 2006 assumed the responsibility of directing the company’s successful homebuilding operations. Prior to joining Bozzuto, Tom was a senior vice president with Summit Properties, Inc., where he was responsible for growing their Mid-Atlantic portfolio. While at Bozzuto, Tom has overseen the development numerous communities throughout the Washington DC/Baltimore metro area, including Shipley’s Grant, Uptown at Murray Hill, Uplands, Towson Green, Parker15, and 460 New York Ave. Tom currently serves as president of the Maryland Builders Industry Association (MBIA) representing the building industry for the State of Maryland. A registered architect, he holds a Degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois and a Master's in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He is a current member of the Urban Land Institute and has served on the boards of the Howard County Conservancy and the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation.
