With the input of our employees, we chose to build this mission on the pillars of youth development and social & environmental impact. And those pillars guide everything we do through our charitable and philanthropic efforts.
Spring Volunteering with Rise
Inspired by Toby's 2025 word of the year—Impact—Rise by Bozzuto has transformed commitment into action. This spring, our associates mobilized across 19 markets, demonstrating dedication to community service through impactful initiatives: Earth Day Cleanups, Rebuild Days with Rebuilding Together and a special partnership in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area with A Wider Circle. Nearly 500 team members united with a mission: to make a tangible difference in the communities we serve.
ERG & Rise Leadership Summit
Celebrating Champions of Inclusion
At the heart of Rise's commitment to exceptional leadership, our 3rd Annual ERG & Rise Leadership Summit emerged as a transformative gathering that celebrated the extraordinary individuals driving our organizational culture. The summit brought together our most outstanding Rise Community Champions and employee resource group (ERG) leaders, creating a powerful network of talent, passion and purpose. To our leaders who continue to champion change, drive innovation, and uplift our community—this day was a celebration of you.
Our Year in Review
In our fourth year of Rise by Bozzuto, we unite as One Bozzuto to create positive change in the world and communities in which we live, work and play.
- During our 35 Years of Service initiative with Rebuilding Together, associates repaired and revitalized homes and community spaces across ten of our markets.
- Through our Backpack Drive associates, residents and partners donated over 2,200 backpacks filled with school supplies. The backpacks were donated to 66 clubs across the U.S.
- Bozzuto’s 86 summer interns volunteered with different charitable organizations across our markets.
- At the end of the year, our associates packed more than 200,000 pounds of food at 13 food banks and shelters across the country. And 180 of our communities collected more than 10,000 cans of food donated to local food banks and shelters.
Community Champions
The reach of Rise by Bozzuto would not be possible without our Community Champions. These incredible leaders are employees from across the entire company who launch initiatives for their fellow team members, residents and partners in their region and are empowered to build relationships with local organizations to help bring the long-term goals of Rise to fruition.
MHN Award
Rise by Bozzuto received the 2025 Humanitarian Award at the Multi-Housing News (MHN) Excellence Awards. Through thoughtful initiatives, Rise impacted over 120,000 lives, creating safer homes, greener communities and brighter futures for our youth. This recognition reflects the core of who we are as we stay committed to taking care of our people, our communities and our planet.
