Instructional Designer/Trainer

Primary Responsibilities:

The Instructional Designer/Trainer role will contribute to the conceptualization, development, and implementation of high-quality programs and training to meet the future needs of the growing company and staff.  This role will assess businessneeds and root causes with internal clients and develop comprehensive, creativeorganizational effectiveness and instructional design approaches. Theindividual will also be a participant in the development of strategies for theenhancement of instructional design capabilities to achieve truly world-classstatus in meeting Bozzuto’s employee development needs.

As an Instructional Designer, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Using solid adult learning principles, design and develop leading-edge, creative, and highly engaging learning interventions, including storyboards and outlines, and integration between live, virtual, and online learning. 
  • Act as a point of contact for instructional design requests from key business partners, conducting a thorough review of requests and framing them to recommend the appropriate responses, including virtual, online, and live learning methodologies, as well as organizational effectiveness approaches, such as organization or job redesign, new on-the-job learning methods, change management and communication plans.
  • Develop Train-the-Trainer sessions for SME’s and other field employees who facilitate training to ensure consistent, high-quality facilitation of the course content.
  • Deliver virtual and in-person instructor-led courses, either as train-the-trainer instructor or as direct classroom instructor.
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal clients to enhance long-term communication, effectiveness, and understanding of end-client value propositions. Collaborate with key Operational stakeholders as well as leaders within Operational Support teams.

What You Bring to Us:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, instructional design, or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in a corporate training function, with a focus on instructional design
  • Proficiency in at least one e-learning software application, ideally Articulate 360
  • Experience using at least one leading LMS, ideally Cornerstone
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing online, e-learning, and virtual learning, from client interaction and needs specification, to production delivery and evaluation.
  • Experience in Real Estate, Development, Construction, or Management a plus
