Bozzuto Management Co. has won the 2009 title of property management company of the year for the second time by the National Association of Home Builders.
In 2000 the Greenbelt-based company also received the honor.
“Bozzuto employees epitomize good management,” said Steve Patterson, chair of the multifamily leadership board for D.C.-based NAHB, which reps more than 200,000 members involved in residential and light commercial construction. “The company’s growth has been steady, and is based on referrals from satisfied clients.”
The judging panel cited the company’s focus on hiring service-minded, energetic employees and training and education offerings. The 650-person company manages 27,500 units in 97 properties throughout the East coast.
Upstairs at Bethesda Row was winner of best rental apartment community (non-garden) category, and Highland Park took the title of best mid-rise apartment. Both are managed by Bozzuto.
