Two developers have joined forces to form a $75 million investment fund to construct and acquire apartment building projects in the Baltimore-Washington corridor.
The Bozzuto Group of Greenbelt and the Pritzker Realty Group of Chicago said Tuesday they were creating a joint venture to build and acquire large rental properties in the region. The work is to begin immediately, said Toby Bozzuto, president of the Bozzuto Group.

The developer of 100 Park at Wyomissing Square held a grand opening of the apartment complex on Monday.
Wyomissing Square is a mixed-use development on the site of the former Textile Machine Works, which also contains Viva Bistro and Tapas Lounge and Berkshire Professional Center. A Courtyard by Marriott Hotel and 32,000 square feet of retail space also are planned.

Baltimore developer Thomas “Toby” Bozzuto Jr. has been tapped to serve on a state commission overseeing health and higher education facilities.
Gov. Martin O’Malley appointed Bozzuto to a seat on the Maryland Health and Higher Education Facilities Authority. The son of Bozzuto Group CEO Thomas S. Bozzuto replaces Willard Hackerman, CEO of Whiting Turner.
