Early next week, the $238 million Uplands residential development on the city’s West Side will officially open.
The development is on property that once was a 979-unit troubled, subsidized apartment complex off Route 40 west that was bought by the city in 2004.

It's now possible to secure a lease at the Flats170 at Academy Yard apartments.
Bozzuto Group has opened a leasing office at the site along Telegraph Road, and residents may be able to move in later this year.
