Harvard Hall

Harvard Hall is a seven-story, Type I residential building in Northwest Washington, DC, originally constructed in 1929. The project involved demolishing the structure back to its bare frame and rebuilding it to include 196 dwelling units and a new penthouse above the seventh floor. During reconstruction, the elevators were relocated into new shafts, and a new egress stair was added. The building received all-new MEP systems, including a VRF mechanical system and central boilers for plumbing. Designed to meet LEED certification standards, the project also incorporated sustainable features such as stormwater cisterns used for courtyard irrigation.
