Communities rise to support their members. People rise to meet challenges. Rise by Bozzuto amplifies our impact.
We believe Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral business practice that allows us to effect change and make a positive impact on people’s lives. Rise by Bozzuto, our strategic social impact program, unites Bozzuto employees, residents, partners and clients around a common purpose and provides cohesive ways to give back within our communities.
The core of Rise by Bozzuto revolves around making a tangible difference in communities facing homelessness and housing challenges. Our supporting pillars are youth development and social & environmental impact. Bozzuto employees were influential in choosing these strategic pillars, which serve as the guide for our charitable and philanthropic efforts.

By supporting the meaningful work of these incredible nonprofits, we’re able to reach those who need it most and positively impact their lives right now.
In July, Bozzuto’s cohort of interns was invited by Rise to participate in a volunteer outing. All 71 interns volunteered at one of the following organizations: A Wider Circle, The Campaign Against Hunger, Boys &Girls Clubs of Hudson County, The Greater Boston Food Bank, and The Greater Chicago Food Depository. Interns packed over 17,000 pounds of food at food banks, volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club summer camp, assisted in gardening efforts, sorted through donations and more. We are grateful for our interns and an opportunity to give back to our communities.
2022 is the third year of Rise – our third year of coming together to create a positive change. We supported families affected by the Ukranian war by teaming up with World Central Kitchen (WCK) to raise funds to provide fresh meals for families in Ukraine and Ukranian refugees. We continued our partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America as Chief Administrative Officer Julie Smith chaired the Greater Washington 2021 Youth in Real Estate event, raising a record-breaking $1 Million for youth programs. For the third consecutive year, we joined A Wider Circle in the Race to End Poverty and had 200 members on Team Bozzuto – our largest team ever. Associates from ten of our markets created sanctuary in their own backyards by participating in volunteer opportunities, which included tree planting, beach cleanups, urban garden projects and bench painting at the National Mall. With each initiative, we strive to Rise up and improve our communities.
The reach of Rise by Bozzuto would not be possible without our Community Champions. These incredible leaders are employees from across the entire company who launch initiatives for their fellow team members, residents and partners in their region and are empowered to build relationships with local organizations to help bring the long-term goals of Rise to fruition.
