It’s our second year and we absolutely love our apartment at Alexan Florence. Within two blocks of two grocery stores and the best water front parks in Alexandria, the location is unbeatable. The staff is amazing and the amenities are top notch.

It's great here but there are a lot of dogs which means a lot of noise and sometimes it can get a bit dirty outside of the apartment. Maintenance is usually good enough it's not that much of a concern. Also, internet goes out often after midnight. If...

Alexan Florence is without a doubt the highest quality apartment complex in the Alexandria / Old Town area. The location falls within walking distance of all main attractions within Old Town, while providing a safe and comfortable area to live.

Moved in recently with unit cleaned beautifully. Just had Israel here to fix a leak; prompt, courteous. Rest of the staff always helpful, friendly and professional.

Am excellent team who thoroughly look after the AF community. Since choosing to live here I haven’t looked back - the facilities and set up are gold standard and the monthly events are and added bonus.

Wish it was a little closer to the metro but overall very nice apartments with good quality appliances. Pool gets a little crowded in the summer. Feel like there could be a better system for that.

Overall management is great. Beautiful building and finishes. Parking is reasonable. A little bit of a walk to the metro, but very nice being so close to the waterfront.

The management staff is amazing, the apartment complex is very clean and safe and the apartment amenities are great! We love the front entrance area and the roof top areas.

Everything here is wonderful except the lack of soundproofing. You can hear your neighbors above and next to you. They had poor construction when they built it but they made up for it by providing the nicest kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental.
