The Bozzuto Group Opens New Corporate Headquarters

--Company Relocates, Remains in Prince George’s County--

GREENBELT, MD – October 1, 2014 – The Bozzuto Group, a Washington, DC-area based real estate services company, today celebrated the relocation of its corporate headquarters to 6406 Ivy Lane, Greenbelt, MD with a ribbon cutting ceremony including employees, business associates and public officials.

While the distance between Bozzuto’s old and new headquarters may only be 1.5 miles away, the spaces are quite different.

The new office space implements progressive and innovative workspaces, large, open community areas, and flexible meeting rooms, all of which allow for more impromptu meetings and gatherings as well as increased opportunities for collaboration.

The central feature of the new space is beautiful stone staircase that connects four floors together.  The hope is that this staircase will be used not only for wellness reasons, but will also serve as a conduit of information exchange and interaction throughout all of the company.

Another highlight is the office’s large town square – a kitchen/lounge offering an experience similar to a Starbucks coffee shop – that includes seating areas ranging from a large communal table to small groupings of chairs.  The space serves as the cultural hub for the office, and provides an environment where employees can congregate to share ideas, conduct meetings or grab a bite to eat. 

Bozzuto employees also have access to a state-of-the art fitness center, complete with yoga room, cardio machines, free weights and strength machines, as well as a virtual group fitness area with exercise videos featuring kickboxing, dance, cycling, yoga, and more.  

The aesthetics of the new office space were designed with employee comfort as a guiding principle.  The finishes are sophisticated and warm, combining tones of grey with wood and beautiful stone and large windows allow for abundant natural light and beautiful views.

The new office also houses two electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. These are the first stations installed in Maryland that qualified for the state’s new Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Rebate Program, introduced by the Maryland Energy Administration in July 2014.
