The Bozzuto Group and the Peterson Cos. plan to hold a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday on the Esplanade, the first apartment building to be developed at the National Harbor in Prince George's County.

You can now lock in to live at one of the new apartments on Telegraph Road.
It's now possible to secure a lease at the Flats170 at Academy Yard apartments.
Bozzuto Group has opened a leasing office at the site along Telegraph Road, and residents may be able to move in later this year.
There are seven buildings under construction with 30 different floor plans with studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. In all, Flats170 will have 369 apartments.

In the long-standing debate between renting and owning, Ashley and Matthew Klein may have found the best of both worlds.
The Annapolis, Md., couple have rented a one-bedroom at Bozzuto’s Mariner Bay apartments since 2010 (1910 Towne Centre Blvd., Annapolis, Md.; 877-584-6145). When they decided to buy, they learned they could get credit for all those months of rent checks — to the tune of $10,000.

John Slidell, a co-founder, vice chairman and president of Bozzuto Land Co., will step down April 5.
