Stephanie L. Williams
President, Bozzuto Management Company

Stephanie L. Williams, President of Bozzuto Management Company, has been ensuring that The Bozzuto Group provide extraordinary experiences to residents, clients, partners and employees since 2004.

She oversees an apartment portfolio of over 68,000 units across 245 properties in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southern regions. In 2017, Stephanie earned the Multi-Housing News Excellence Award for Executive of the Year, was named Minority Business Leader by Washington Business Journal and was honored as a member of Baltimore Business Journal’s 2017 Top 40 Under 40. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association and the Real Estate Executive Council.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Community & Environmental Planning from the University of Washington, Seattle and a Masters of Community Planning from the University of Maryland, College Park. Washington, D.C. has been her proud home for the past 15 years and is where she lives today.

Chad Cooley
Managing Director, Strategic Support Services, Bozzuto Management Company

Chad Cooley, Managing Director, joined Bozzuto Management Company in 1997. Chad has served in a range of leadership roles including positions in property management, information systems, and asset management. In his current role, he oversees property operations for 38 communities in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut working closely with owners and their representatives to ensure that the strategic goals set for their properties are achieved and asset values are maximized.

While working in asset management, Chad focused on refinancing of assets, acquisition and disposition of assets, and strategic planning for increasing portfolio value. Chad’s current management portfolio includes value-add product with significant renovation strategies, tax credit properties, lease-ups, takeover communities, class A/B/C product, high-rise, mid-rise, and garden style communities.

Nancy Goldsmith
Managing Director, Property Operations, Bozzuto Management Company

Nancy Goldsmith, Managing Director of Property Operations for Bozzuto Management Company, has worked with the principals of The Bozzuto Group for over 24 years. Goldsmith oversees operations for an apartment portfolio of over 25,000 units in 95 communities, and over 800,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Goldsmith works in conjunction with the executive team to drive performance at the property level, and provides strategic support to her team, clients and business development initiatives.

Throughout her 27-year career in property management, Goldsmith has overseen the completion of over 75 lease-ups in various markets. As a Senior Vice President, she led a team of eight regional managers on expanding operations from the Mid-Atlantic into New England, as a Regional Portfolio Manager she was responsible for 30 different communities and before that she managed five different Bozzuto Management Company communities as a Property Manager. Goldsmith also worked for Simpson Property Group, Legacy Partners, and the Housing Opportunities Commission in Montgomery County, MD.

JoLynn Scotch
Managing Director, Property Operations, Bozzuto Management Company

JoLynn Scotch, Managing Director of Property Operations for Bozzuto Management Company, oversees operations for an apartment portfolio of nearly 35,000 units across 116 communities in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Scotch works in conjunction with the executive team to drive performance at the property level and provides strategic support to her team, clients and business development initiatives.

Scotch has worked in the property management industry for nearly 30 years, overseeing successful lease-ups for several of the most prominent luxury apartment communities along the East Coast. As a Senior Vice President, she led a portfolio of over 10,000 units, representing more than 50 properties in the Washington, D.C. and Chicago metros. Prior to joining Bozzuto, she held several positions with Archstone-Smith both in East and West Coast markets.

Lisa Williams
Senior Vice President, Software & Systems, Bozzuto Management Company

A part of The Bozzuto Group for more than 20 years, Lisa serves as senior vice president of software and systems for the Bozzuto Management Company portfolio. In her role, she maintains the property management software as well as the credit screening and various marketing software being used at the site level, working closely with regional teams to support their operating and budgetary goals. Responsible for leading a team of software specialists, Lisa works to maintain consistent policies and procedures within the growing portfolio.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior/Human Resources from The Johns Hopkins University.

Keri Walker
Senior Vice President, Property Operations, Bozzuto Management Company

Keri Walker, Senior Vice President, joined Bozzuto in 2009, bringing 18 years of property management experience to the Bozzuto team. Walker has played an integral role in expanding Bozzuto into New England, growing the portfolio to nearly 5,900 units across 22 properties. Most notably, she has built an incredibly talented Bozzuto Boston team, whose concern and care for our customers have earned communities, such as The Kensington and The Batch Yard, repeated top rankings for online reputation.

Walker works closely with owners and their representatives to maximize asset value. During her tenure, she has gained experience in value-add assets undergoing significant capital improvements, overseeing 465-unit Park Lane Seaport in downtown Boston and 15 Bank Apartments, a 501-unit high-rise in White Plains, NY. Walker also plays an important role in the development pipeline activity in the Northeast and continues to be instrumental in growing the New England Region for Bozzuto.

Jo Gavigan
Senior Vice President, Property Operations, Bozzuto Management Company

Jo Gavigan, Senior Vice President with Bozzuto Management Company, is an accredited real estate executive with over 14 years of experience managing portfolios of conventional housing projects in urban and suburban markets. Her current portfolio consists of 10,000 units in communities across Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., North Carolina and Georgia. Her focus at Bozzuto has been in Class A market lease-up properties as well as the re-positioning of transition takeover assets, resulting in value optimization. Gavigan has developed award-winning teams and communities during her time with the company.

Prior to joining the Bozzuto Group, she held the position of Portfolio Manager for Braemore Property Management in Edinburgh, Scotland where she gained exceptional international knowledge. Additionally, Gavigan has held various positions with Equity Residential as well as Lincoln Property Company throughout her career.

Lucretia Kumah
Senior Vice President, Property Operations, Bozzuto Management Company

Lucretia Kumah, Senior Vice President, manages a portfolio of more than 10,500 units representing more than 35 properties in Chicago and the Washington, D.C. metro area, with a concentration of mixed-use communities located in urban centers. With her extensive industry experience, Kumah was chosen to spearhead Bozzuto’s growth in Chicago, where she oversaw the lease-up of OneEleven and the management transition of three additional Class A assets in Chicago’s core submarkets.

During her 10 years with Bozzuto, she has been instrumental in the successful lease-ups of numerous high profile assets in D.C.’s competitive market space, including The Apartments at CityCenter, District and The Hepburn. Working with numerous owners, she has maximized the value of their assets and played an important role in the successful transition of over 1,000 units in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Bozzuto, Kumah held various field positions with Archstone-Smith including Senior Property Manager, managing four communities in Northern Virginia.

Erik Sabotka
Senior Vice President, Property Operations, Bozzuto Management Company

Erik Sabotka, Senior Vice President, has 14 years of experience in the property management industry, joining Bozzuto Management Company in 2013. His current portfolio consists of over 12,000 units covering New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Sabotka has experience with predevelopment planning, mixed-use and lease-up communities, as well as operational experience with hotel, restaurant and retail management. He has successfully generated profitable performance by pinpointing operational inefficiencies and resolutions and is also tenacious in building solid teams, securing employee loyalty and forging strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Prior to joining Bozzuto, Sabotka served as Regional Property Manager with Morgan Properties, where he oversaw a portfolio of 3,700 units in New Jersey. Sabotka also held the position of Senior Regional Manager and Acting Regional Vice President of The Bethany Group in Baltimore, Maryland, and various management positions at AIMCO and Equity Residential in Atlanta, Georgia.

Julie M. Thompson
Senior Vice President, Property Operations, Bozzuto Management Company

Julie M. Thompson, Regional Vice President, joined Bozzuto Management Company in 1998. She began her career in property management with Bozzuto as a Leasing Consultant and was quickly promoted multiple times. Thompson currently oversees the management of 2,000 units in the Baltimore City and Gaithersburg, Maryland submarkets.

Thompson has a strong focus on the planning of new developments and lease-up execution. She has played an integral role in the continued growth of Bozzuto, building a talented team, whose concern and care is second to none. During her time as a Regional Manager/Vice President, Thompson has overseen various types of communities including high-rise, mid-rise, lease-up, renovation programs, acquisitions and mixed-use. Thompson was an award-winning on-site professional and has also served as Business Development Coordinator and Analyst during her tenure at Bozzuto.

John M. Pezzulla
Vice President, Retail Assets, Bozzuto Management Company

John Pezzulla, Vice President of Retail Assets, joined Bozzuto in 2012 with more than 20 years of experience working on urban mixed-use communities. In his current role, Pezzulla oversees asset management of over 2.2 million square feet of retail and office space across 100 properties in 11 states and the District of Columbia. He participates in master planning and commercial strategy for development projects, acquisitions and managed properties. Pezzulla leads a team of ten in commercial and retail management, tenant construction coordination and retail marketing.

Prior to working for Bozzuto, Pezzulla worked for The Rouse Company, Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse and Federal Realty Investment Trust where he led the management and marketing of premier signature properties including Under Armour's corporate headquarters (Baltimore, MD), Bayside Marketplace (Miami, FL), Rockville Town Square (Rockville, MD), and Pentagon Row (Arlington, VA). He is an active member of BOMA Baltimore and International Council of Shopping Centers, and serves as a director on numerous boards in Baltimore.

Jonathan Lane
Senior Director, Maintenance and Engineering Services, Bozzuto Management Company

Jonathan Lane, Senior Director of Maintenance and Engineering Services, joined Bozzuto with more than 20 years of experience with system operations, maintenance and project management in manufacturing and retail sectors. Lane oversees Bozzuto’s regional maintenance and engineering teams and is responsible for the implementation of best engineering practices among the company’s portfolio. He has experience managing union workforce in the realm of manufacturing and maintenance and has also led facilities operations and maintenance at a cutting edge semiconductor manufacturer.

Prior to joining Bozzuto, Lane was Director of Facilities Management for Pandora Americas, where he was responsible for the maintenance and operations of corporate sites and led the build-out of jewelry retailer’s Americas headquarters in Baltimore, MD, and renovation of the Pandora’s American logistics and distribution center in Columbia, MD. Prior to Pandora, Lane worked for Burt’s Bees, where he recalibrated the company’s manufacturing facility, built out the 200,000 square foot U.S. distribution center and managed the headquarters’ move to historic Durham.

Peter Zadoretzky
Director of Sustainability, Bozzuto Management Company

Director of Sustainability, Peter Zadoretzky, has more than 14-years of experience in the real estate industry. Zadoretzky has spent the past four years building Bozzuto’s sustainability platform from the ground up. In this role he provides guidance and advisory services on a wide variety of property-specific, portfolio-wide and corporate efforts, focused primarily on sustainability initiatives including utility benchmarking, energy procurement, water and energy reduction programs, resident-focused amenities, engagement and education. A LEED Green Associate, Zadoretzky also serves on a number of industry groups, including the NAA Energy Subcommittee and the Board of Directors for USGBC-Maryland.
