Toby Bozzuto is stepping into his father's role as chief executive officer of the Bozzuto Group.

The younger Bozzuto has succeeded Thomas S. Bozzuto. The move became official Tuesday. In his new role, Toby Bozzuto will provide both strategic and day-to-day leadership of the company and its more than 2,000 employees, and pursue growth of the company's four operating businesses.

Washington Post: Upscale Mixed-Use Development Opens Near National Cathedral

The Bozzuto Group recently held the grand opening of the long-anticipated Cathedral Commons development, which includes 137 rental apartments and eight upscale townhouses for rent.

Washington Post: New Luxury Apartments in Northwest D.C. Now Leasing

Leasing is now underway for 137 apartments in Cathedral Commons, a mixed-use development at 3401 Idaho Ave. NW in Washington scheduled to open in the fall of 2015.
