Summer 2012

According to a recent study, nearly half of all apartment searches are conducted on mobile devices, and house hunting isn’t far behind. Mobile technology is not just the future, it’s the present.

Bozzuto knows that consumers are adopting faster ways to access information on the go, and has been hard at work creating a more significant mobile presence. From revamping the homepage and creating a new apartment search app, to placing QR codes on construction site signage and utilizing search engine optimization strategies, Bozzuto’s marketing team is working to meet the needs of today’s technologically savvy consumer.

Today, 25% of visitors are mobile users, a 100% increase over last year’s numbers, and this number will continue to rise. If you need help to ensure your message is being seen by the expanding community of mobile users, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

New Homepage Launched At

You may have noticed that the homepage at looks a bit different. We recently introduced new elements into the page that allow us to better feature all the amazing programs, news and activity going on at Bozzuto.  The first example? A feature that prominently highlighted our military programs in the days leading up to the Memorial Day weekend. This resulted in 114 clicks to the Military Discount Page and 54 clicks to our Military Careers Page – a huge jump over past activity. Check back often because there’s much more to come!

Sweepstakes Hit the Mark’s Mother’s Day Sweepstakes, which offered the chance to win a “Pamper Your Mom” gift card, was a tremendous success.   The campaign received more than 2,000 views, more than 500 entries and had a reach of more than 23,000!

One entrant wrote, “Since Bozzuto has taken over the care of our community, I feel safe and happy every day that we have them. They come as soon as you need them, fix everything from A to Z. Also many other extras. Now this Mother's Day Sweepstakes. They care about us.”

The feedback has been phenomenal, and the two most recent sweepstakes – Father’s Day  and Pinterest – generated media coverage, as well as an impressive rate of participation.  Based on these successes, we have a calendar of upcoming sweepstakes scheduled, so stay tuned to see what’s coming!

Marketing Spotlight...

Uptown at Murray Hill

Bozzuto Homes’ Uptown at Murray Hill is a brand new community of 30 rowhomes, single family homes and duplexes in one of the most sought after areas of historic Annapolis.  Steps from the colonial city’s attractions, trendy restaurants and chic boutiques, the upscale, resort-style community will include “green” features and benefits that have come to be a signature of Bozzuto Homes.

To kick off sales of the new community, Bozzuto Homes hosted three events in a gallery-like setting that were attended by more than 50 employees, realtors and prospects.  Well-known local musician Doug Segree provided entertainment and Main Ingredient, winner of the Annapolis “Best Caterer” award for five consecutive years, served delicious fare. Three sales were generated by those events alone.

The sales center, located directly across the street from the community at 208 West Street, opened shortly after the pre-sale events, and received 15 walk-ins in the first weekend alone.  To date, one-third of the homes at Uptown at Murray Hill have already been sold!  Congratulations to BHI for this terrific accomplishment.

Towson Green Opens Model With Fanfare

More than 40 guests and their families attended a grand opening event for the Bozzuto Homes’ beautifully appointed model homes at Towson Green.  Guests enjoyed a “movable feast” as appetizers were served in the Allegheny, lunch in the Burke and desserts in the Chesapeake.  Keeping with our “green” theme, wonderful food and refreshments were provided by Rouge of Hunt Valley, a local, green and organic caterer.  Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many compliments on the rooftop terraces with skyline views.  The Burke model, a 2012 MAX winner for product design, seemed to be a favorite as well, with standing room only in the open kitchen, dining and living area.  Some guests spent the entire afternoon enjoying the appealing spaces.  Kudos to the fabulous interior design team at Carlyn & Co. for showcasing the models so well.
